My Random Restaurant Picker was a quick project that I set out to complete in one night that would solve one of my daily problems at work: deciding where I wanted to go to work. I hava a handful of restaurants that I like and are close enough to my office so choosing once each day can be a small task. Since I was getting better at Meteor at the time, I decided to see if I could make this simple app in just one evening. At the end of the evening I had developed, and styled a simple app that would allow me, or others, to create an account, add restaurants, and then randomize them any time I wanted to help me decide on a place to eat. For a short time I had this hosted on a small free server so my co-workers could use it as well, but now it just resides on my local machine for my enjoyment.
