This version of The Jungle Times that was written in Ruby on Rails was a second attempt to build my own blog and a chance to self-teach myself the Ruby on Rails framework. Rails seemed much easier to get started with and I felt that I was able to produce a much better final product. After building the back-end in Ruby on Rails, I felt I did one of my best jobs at the time in styling the website using Sass. Upon completing the development of this project right before basketballs season in the fall of 2015, I got the chance to learn how to set up my own virtual host to hold my web application. Once hosted, I continued to write and produce content focused on Auburn and SEC Basketball. Currently I am not writing pieces for The Jungle Times but I am thinking of re-doing it once again with Meteor.js and possibly turining it into a side blog for me to share my thoughts on college basketball as a whole and not just limit myself to Auburn Basketball.
